Policy regarding Privacy and Confidentiality ProSource Management Consultants Inc., and it's consultants or associates, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act ("PIDEDA") which became effective January 1, 2004 does hereby comprehend and comply with the legislation. ProSource Management Consultants Inc. and it's consultants understand and agree that it will not at any time divulge to any unauthorized person, firm or organization, unless required by court order or law, any confidential, proprietary or privileged information or trade secrets received by ProSource, including information regarding financial, business operations, manufacturing or service methods, processes, know-how, procedures, employee and payroll information, and identifiable salary information acquired during the course of it's consulting relationship or any time thereafter. Furthermore, ProSource Management Consultants and it's consultants or associates respects the privacy of individuals in all aspects of our business operations. We have a commitment to protecting the personal information of job seekers when providing services to our clients. For job seekers who are asked to provide information that includes: work experience, qualifications, education, salary information, references, testing results, criminal records information, driver abstracts and other bonefide job requirement information, interview notes and personal contact information, this information is used to: understand your qualifications, needs and preferences, and enables ProSource to determine if the opportunity is comparable in terms of applicant and client interests. ProSource collects the amount of personal information that is required to determine applicant suitability and in accordance with other legislation including Human Rights. Personal information is never traded, sold, given or leased by ProSource to any external organization, other than by court order and is used solely for legitimate business purposes under it's corporate mission. ProSource, it's consultants or associates will disclose limited personal information to our clients, with applicant approval, when there is a potential for job placement. ProSource may share personal information with our affiliates for the purpose of placing a job candidate. Affiliates would also be required to agree to this policy prior to the sharing of personal information. Job applicants are made aware of our policy and by electronically, verbally, faxing or by other methodology in transmitting personal information, job applicants provide implied consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information as specified herein. Resumes and other personal information will be retained in our files either electronically or in secured and lockable filing cabinets and locked offices indefinitely unless we are advised that the applicant no longer wish to be represented or contacted by a ProSource representative. Applicants have the right to access their own personal information and file and may do so by submitting a request in writing including the signature of the applicant.
